My Go-To: Lip Colors for Fall/Winter

I am absolutely not one to shy away from bold lip colors.  To be honest, I think they exude confidence more than any other makeup product.  I mean, don't they just make you go, "Dang, that girl is fierce"?? Because that's how I feel.  Anyway, I wanted to share my two favorite lipsticks of the moment.

The first is Maybelline's COLORsensational lipstick in 420 "Deepest Cherry".  Now, I've always been a fan of red lips, but when the vampy trend started last year, I just about died.  Since then I've been on the hunt for the perfect color for my skin tone, and I think I've finally found it.  I really like the sharp contrast between my pale skin and the wine colored lips.  If anything, it definitely makes a strong statement.

The second is Sonia Kashuk's Satin Luxe Lip Color in 94 "Plum Wine".  I never thought I'd sport a purple toned lip product, but the day has arrived.  Isn't it funny how fashion surprises you?  It keeps me on my toes!  Anyway, I'm completely obsessed with this color, and product.  First, I put a layer of concealer on my lips to prep before applying the lipstick so that the color appears even more vibrant.  And boy does it show up beautifully.  I have to make a shout out to my girl Sonia Kashuk on this one--this lip product glides on so smoothly, no clumps or lumps!  I just laaave it.

In my opinion, anyone can wear a bold lip.  What's your favorite to rock?
