OOTD: Casual summer day

...... I'm back! It's been, well, a long while since I last posted. I transferred to a new university and really immersed myself into every activity I could come up with. But, excuses aside, I'm back now.

I recently became apart of the CollegeFashionista team as a Style Guru intern for the summer. I'm going to be blogging about some of the fashionistas/os on my college campus, so be on the lookout for BTS (behind the scenes) posts very soon!

Here's an OOTD from my first post, my "Style Guru Bio". I've been really into the monochromatic trend recently; it can give an outfit such a sleek look.  So, I paired my favorite army green, caped t-shirt dress with a camo sweatshirt. I also added a pair of mirrored aviators with a green tint to them to tie in with the color scheme. I then went for my favorite Steven Madden flatforms to add a little contrast to the ensemble.  I've also been loving the whole "backpack as a purse" trend, so I threw on my favorite thrifted coach backpack. This is something I'd wear on a casual summer day. It's super cute, but also comfy.
